Farm to Plate

In Suttons Shed Café we offer good honest food that is additive and preservative free and made in our kitchen. We focus on food from the garden, orchard and the Granite Belt where possible.

Sam’s Fruit and Vegetable shop at Cottonvale specialises in Granite Belt produce and provides produce for our café kitchen. Being able to source local fruit and vegetables from smaller growers helps to support them.

Many of the recipes used in our kitchen are old family recipes and reflect the farmhouse style of food we offer every day. Other recipes used are designed to reflect the nature of the produce used.

Sutton’s juices are made on the farm by David Sutton using fresh Granite Belt apples either grown on the orchard or sourced from orchards with in a 10km radius of the farm. The juices are totally preservative and additive free and not made from reconstituted apple concentrate. This makes them ideal for those who prefer pure unadulterated foods close to nature.
